Product Information
Cole Clark's Studio Dreadnought delivers all–solid timber construction at a price point rarely associated with full solid builds. The SFL1EC-RDM pairs a solid redwood top with Queensland maple back and sides, creating a tonal signature distinct from the typical rosewood or mahogany dreadnought voicings found across most of the market. African mahogany neck stock meets a rosewood fretboard with a 12–inch radius and 25.5–inch scale length, while the cutaway body grants upper–fret access for lead work and complex chord voicings. The included Cole Clark PG3mk2 strip piezo pickup system provides amplified output without requiring retrofitting or additional installation.
The redwood top offers warmth and midrange complexity that sits between spruce brightness and cedar softness, responding well to fingerstyle and strumming alike. Queensland maple contributes articulate highs and a balanced low–end response that prevents the mud often associated with larger body styles. Graph Tech Tusq nut and saddle components improve sustain and tuning stability over bone or plastic alternatives. The 44mm nut width accommodates fingerpickers and flatpickers comfortably, while abalone dot inlays and an inlaid abalone rosette with timber binding add visual detail to the poly satin finish. Factory–strung with phosphor bronze 12–53 gauge strings, the guitar ships stage–ready with a heavy–duty grey gig bag and removable pickguard supplied in the case.
