Product Information
Australian Blackwood runs through every timber component of this all–solid Studio Parlour, from the top to the back and sides, delivering a tonal signature that's warmer and more mid–focused than traditional rosewood–backed guitars. Cole Clark sources Blackwood locally, pairing it with an African Mahogany neck and rosewood bridge and fretboard in a compact parlour body shape that balances portability with surprising projection. The PG3mk2 pickup system uses a strip piezo design to capture the natural resonance of the solid timbers, making this guitar functional for both unplugged songwriting and amplified performance.
The 24.75–inch scale length and 46mm nut width sit comfortably between traditional parlour dimensions and modern playability standards, strung from the factory with phosphor bronze strings gauged 12–53. Graph Tech Tusq materials form both the nut and saddle, providing consistent tone transfer and improved tuning stability over bone or plastic alternatives. Cole Clark's own machine heads maintain tuning across string changes and temperature shifts. The poly satin finish protects the Blackwood without choking its resonance, while an inlaid timber rosette adds a understated visual detail around the soundhole.
The included heavy–duty gig bag in grey provides road–ready protection without the bulk of a hard case, matching the parlour body's focus on portability. This model is unavailable in a left–handed configuration. Studio Parlour dimensions make it well–suited to fingerstyle players, singer–songwriters working in smaller rooms, and anyone needing a responsive acoustic that travels easily between home, rehearsal, and stage environments without sacrificing the tonal depth of all–solid construction.
