Product Information
The Behringer Nekkst K8 is a 150–watt active studio monitor developed through collaboration between Behringer's engineering team and Keith R. Klawitter, founder of KRK Systems. This reference–grade nearfield monitor suits critical listening across production, mixing, and mastering environments. The dual–amplified design pairs independent power stages for the 8" glass–fibre woofer and 1" silk–dome tweeter, delivering controlled bass and extended highs across a broad sweet spot.
The 8" long–throw woofer generates tight, articulate bass whilst maintaining transparent midrange reproduction free from phase distortion. The tweeter's elevated resolution pairs with Keith's Advanced Waveguide Technology to shape dispersion characteristics and widen the stereo image across the listening plane. Bi–amplified architecture ensures each driver receives tailored EQ and protection, critical for accurate frequency balance in confined spaces. Connection options and frequency response data support standard studio setups.
