Product Information

The Barnes & Mullins BM600 Wimborne delivers traditional A–style mandolin construction with a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. This eight–string instrument features an adjustable compensated bridge and chrome open–gear tuners for stable intonation across the fingerboard. The bound body and rosewood fingerboard provide classic appointment details that reflect the BM600's position in the Wimborne series as a tonewood–focused option for players who need projection and clarity.

The solid spruce top responds quickly to pick attack, while the mahogany body provides warmth and sustain through the midrange. An adjustable truss rod keeps the neck stable under string tension. The rosewood fingerboard spans the full scale length with inlaid position markers for visual reference during faster passages. Chrome hardware includes four sets of geared tuning machines and a height–adjustable bridge saddle that allows precise action setup. The F–style body shape offers comfortable access to upper frets while maintaining traditional acoustic volume.
