Product Information
The Audix TM1 is a 6 mm pre–polarised condenser microphone purpose–built for acoustic measurement and room analysis. Designed and manufactured in the USA, it delivers flat response across 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a uniformly controlled omnidirectional polar pattern. Sound engineers, studio operators, and recording enthusiasts rely on it for consistent, traceable measurements when analysing room acoustics or calibrating monitoring systems.
The TM1 excels at capturing uncoloured acoustic data across the full audible spectrum. Its pre–polarised design eliminates setup complexity, while the compact 6 mm capsule ensures minimal acoustic obstruction in tight spaces. The microphone ships with a threaded acoustic windscreen to reject wind noise during outdoor measurements. The TM1PLUS variant includes factory calibration data, sensitivity documentation, and a CA4231 machined calibration adapter for use with Brüel & Kjær sound level calibrators, making it traceable to international standards.
