Product Information

The ART Pro Audio MX821SCE is an eight-channel stereo rackmount mixer designed to deliver comprehensive mixing capability in a compact 1U chassis. Each channel offers dual inputs–balanced XLR microphone and unbalanced 1/4" line–with independent level and pan controls that position mono signals anywhere in the stereo image. Switchable +48V phantom power on every mic input accommodates condenser microphones, while the unit's >99dB signal-to-noise ratio ensures clean, transparent audio across all channels.

The MX821SCE provides balanced 1/4" TRS main outputs alongside RCA prefade outputs and aux bus inputs, enabling daisy-chaining of multiple units or sending a mix to recording devices unaffected by master level adjustments. Internal jumpers allow each line input to be converted into a direct output, expanding routing flexibility. Maximum output level reaches +24 dBu balanced, with frequency response spanning 20 Hz to 20 kHz and total harmonic distortion below 0.01% at 1 kHz. The rugged steel chassis houses a built-in power supply.

The mixer delivers 54 dB of maximum gain on mic inputs and 29 dB on line inputs, with input impedance rated at 2kΩ for microphones and 20kΩ for line sources. CMRR exceeds 43 dB typical, maintaining signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Multiple prefade and aux connections support expanded input configurations for stage monitoring, studio submixing, and permanent installations where scalable channel counts are required without compromising rack space or signal quality.
