The Ampeg Portaflex PF-115HE is a 450-watt bass enclosure that bridges vintage aesthetics with contemporary power handling. Based on the classic flip-top design, this 8Ω cabinet houses a single 15" custom-designed ceramic Eminence® speaker and a selectable compression driver. The vintage-style black-diamond tolex and B-15 grille cloth deliver authentic Ampeg character, while extensive internal bracing and sophisticated low-frequency tuning ensure the cab punches well above its class. Pair it with a PF-50T head for a complete rig.

The 15" Eminence driver provides deep, rich low-end response across the entire bass frequency range, while the 1" HF compression driver with L-pad attenuator adds articulation and presence to slap and fingerstyle playing. The shelf-ported cabinet design maximises low-frequency extension without sacrificing punch in the midrange. Integrated side handles facilitate easy transport, and removable casters provide mobility around the stage or studio. The 8Ω impedance allows for flexible pairing with additional cabinets or standalone operation with compatible heads.
