Product Information
The AKG GN15 E is a modular gooseneck module engineered for the DAM Series microphone system, designed to streamline both fixed and mobile installations. At 15 centimetres (6 inches) in length, this gooseneck delivers precise capsule positioning whilst maintaining the structural integrity AKG's professional systems demand. The integrated XLR phantom power adapter accepts 9V–52V supply from any standard mixer, eliminating the need for external breakout boxes and simplifying signal chain architecture.
Construction centres on highly reliable contact points that mate seamlessly with all DAM Series capsules–the CK31, CK32, CK33, CK47, and CK80–ensuring zero connectivity drift across extended touring or installation schedules. The module incorporates an integrated LED ring indicator for real–time system status monitoring and features switchable 250Hz bass rolloff to suppress proximity effect and mechanical noise without compromising midrange clarity. Quick setup and takedown make this gooseneck module particularly practical for broadcast, live sound, and conference environments where installation time directly impacts operational efficiency.
