Unlike the original BoomPro, which has an omnidirectional microphone, BoomPro X features a cardioid unidirectional microphone that isolates your voice from unwanted ambient sound while enhancing your speech clarity, ensuring that you’ll be heard loud and clear in conference calls, communication on the go, and gaming sessions.
The BoomPro X Microphone is built to last with a durable, reinforced cable, gold-plated plug, and a flexible boom arm that can be adjusted to achieve perfect microphone positioning. The original BoomPro’s rotary controls have been forgone for an updated minimalist design with an in-line mute switch and volume slider. Completing BoomPro X Microphone’s new modern look are microphone covers in five different colours, which can be switched in and out for customised looks.
The BoomPro X Microphone is compatible with all smartphones, tablets, PCs, notebooks, and gaming consoles via a 3.5mm (1/8") plug as well as with a range of headphones, including the entire V-MODA Crossfade and M series and other headphones that use a 3.5mm (1/8") cable input. The Y adaptor included with the BoomPro X is for use with computers requiring separate mic and headphone inputs. In contrast, you can use the BoomPro X Microphone with the latest devices with a USB-C input via a USB-C adaptor (not included).
