Product Information

Create layers of hum on your bass with the dbx 510 subharmonic synthesizer. The synth makes notes precisely one octave below the bass in the original audio, making smoother tones to back up the main bass line. Two separate bands of subharmonic synthesis combine to form a rich sound in the background that makes riffs sound more complete.

The independent Low Frequency Boost circuit gets more out of high-performance, low-frequency speaker systems. The low frequencies from this subharmonic synthesizer don't interfere with mid- and high-band information, even when you apply the maximum synthesis and boost. The result is a low-end punch that people really feel. Imagine your audience feeling that low-level hum that they know is there but can't quite place.

LEDs show you the status of each synthesizer channel's frequency so you always know what's happening at any given time. Individual controls allow you to alter the two ranges of subharmonic frequencies to produce that perfect tone to match your bass playing style.
